Ok, so I have been an Emery fan since their first album hit the stores and honestly I was partial to their early, more raw and intense, less experimental sound...that is until this album came along. Emery continue to seek to blend the floating emo melodies and the brash/harsh sounds of screamo metal together. Those two sounds would seem odd companions, but Emery have struck gold in my book. With a flavor that is still uniquely theirs, Emery introduce progressive blends of sampling, disco/techno, and the ever-fluid harmonies into their already potent recipe for great music. I highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoyed their previous albums or have a taste for musical intensity at its finest.
